How to connect with Dreamweaver or Contribute from outside of the university network?

To update websites from home (or anywhere outside of the university network) using Adobe Dreamweaver or Adobe Contribute, you must be running the VPN (Virtual Private Network) client software before and while you are working. Instructions for installing and using VPN are here:

Choose the recommended Cisco AnyConnect client for your operating system. AnyConnect runs out of your browser. If that doesn't work, try installing the VPN Client and running it as you would any other desktop application.

You will need your MacID and password to login to VPN.

After you run VPN, then you may connect and work with Contribute.

When you are done working with Contribute, close Contribute first and then close VPN. If you work for several hours, VPN may time out and you will need to login again.
