Research Roundtable is a fresh new amalgamation of Work-in-Progress and Research Seminars. Pediatrics' Research Roundtable sessions are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 8-9am in HSC-3A14.

The 2020 Resilience: Equity in Gender, Health & Water Conference  will be held at the Art Gallery of Hamilton (123 King St. West, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada)  on March 6th and 7th, 2020.

The conference focuses on the intersections of gender, health and water in relation to resilience. The themes include: gender and health equality, holistic health (Indigenous perspectives), gender-based violence prevention, and responding to trauma (resilience interventions). The Annual May Cohen Lecture ('Child sex trafficking and exploitation: A pervasive form of sexual abuse') will be given on the first day of the conference (March 6th) by Dr. Jordan Greenbaum.

We are also accepting poster submissions until January 15th. If you know of any individuals who would be interested in submitting a poster abstract on their work for consideration, please direct them to to submit their abstract.

8th Annual Undergraduate Research Day

Thank you to all our trainees, faculty, staff, supervisors and volunteers that helped make CHRD 2016 a success. Twenty-nine posters and 4 oral presentations were delivered by a wide range of staff and trainees in the Master’s, Resident, and Fellow/PhD categories. In each category of trainees participants were eligible to win first place.
