Pediatric Grand Rounds take place on Thursdays from 8 - 9 a.m. in HSC 1A4.

Title: Is it time to eat? Is it time to intervene? Nutritional & surgical management of pediatric acute pancreatitis

Objectives: This presentation will highlight new guidelines on the management of pediatric acute pancreatitis with a focus on the role of early enteral feeding as well as endoscopic and surgical interventions.

Speakers: DR. JENNA DOWHANIUK completed her Pediatric training and Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition fellowship at McMaster University.

DR. KAREN BAILEY is an Associate Professor & Pediatric General Surgery CTU Director at McMaster University, she has worked as a pediatric surgeon and the Pediatric Trauma program director at McMaster Children’s Hospital since 2010.
