About PATH

Addictive disorders such as alcohol use disorder, nicotine dependence, illicit drug addiction and pathological gambling are among the most widespread psychiatric disorders in Canada and around the world. Approximately one in five Canadians experience addiction over their lifetime. The PATH Registry's purpose is to gather information from volunteers with or without addiction problem to develop a cohort for future research studies that will help us further our understanding of the causes, consequences and treatment of individuals with addiction disorder.
