Janet Landeen is the associate professor of the School of Nursing. She joined the Faculty in 1987 following a 20-year career in hospital and community based psychiatric mental health nursing.

Full time with the School of Nursing since 1998, Landeen was Assistant Dean of the Undergraduate Nursing Education Program from 2004-2012. She has served on both the University Senate and the University Board of Governors as an elected faculty represenatative. She is also an elected member of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing Accreditation Bureau.

Landeen's contributions to nursing education have been recognized throughout her career, including the 2015 President's Award and the 2015 Ethel Johns Award from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.
