Expertise-Based Randomized Controlled Trial of Scrotal Versus Inguinal (Standard) Orchidopexy on Postoperative Pain

Study Summary

The primary objective of the EXPRESSO randomized controlled trial is to determine the difference in post-operative pain between scrotal and inguinal orchidopexy. This study aims to recruit 162 patients between the ages of 10-95 months who have been diagnosed with low-lying palpable undescended testes requiring orchidopexy. The EXPRESSO study is being carried out at McMaster Children's Hospital.
