Academic Biography

Dr. Keith Tsoi obtained a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario in 1998. He completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Toronto and qualified in 2002. Both his Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology residencies were completed at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

He gained further experience in benign and transplant hepatology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario 2007-2008.  He was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology in 2008.

Clinical Interests

Dr Tsoi has a clinical interest in Hepatology with a focus on the treatment of viral hepatitis, particularly Hepatitis B. 

Academic Interests

Dr Tsoi is the Director of the Clinical Hepatology Research Unit and conducts trials of therapy in viral hepatitis.
