Researchers receive dementia research grant

Richard Sztramko and Anthony Levinson have received a grant from the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, led by Baycrest Health Sciences, supporting their dementia and caregivers research.

The grant through the Researcher-Clinician Partnership Program is valued at $450,000.

The funds will support the iGeriCare Initiative, which uses multimedia e-learning to improve quality of life for family caregivers of people with dementia.

Sztramko is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. Levinson is director of director of the division of e-Learning Innovation for the Faculty and an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences.
