The Conference Secretariat would like to thank all participants for their invaluable contributions. Together, these representatives from over 50 countries have made the conference a memorable platform for international collaboration, while working towards the advancement and empowerment of women and children throughout the world.

In the midst of global political turmoil, this convention has proven a grand event for partnerships between nations at the most opportune time. In confirming it's success as a follow-up to the 2000 International Women's conference in India, a number of schools from the University of Mississippi in the United States to Monash University in Australia have pledged to lead the conference in 2006 and 2009, marking what appears to be the makings of a regular tri-annual event on the international health calendar.
