Womens Health Concerns Clinic (WHCC)

General Description and Overview

The WHCC is an outpatient facility that provides assessment, consultation and treatment for women who are experiencing mood problems related to the menstrual cycle, childbearing or menopause. The WHCC also conducts clinical and biological research in these areas. We employ a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, gynecologists, nurses, a social worker, a mental health counselor, research and laboratory staff, and trainees.

Population served:

  • Women 18 years of age and over
  • Structured assessment, consultation and treatment
  • Consultation regarding safety of psychotropic medications during pregnancy/postpartum, psychotherapy
