Ehud Rosenbloom

Ehud RosenbloomOriginally from Israel, Dr. Rosenbloom obtained his medical degree from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. In 2007, he completed his pediatric residency training at Assaf-Harofeh Medical Center in Israel, followed by his fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the same institution.

In 2009, he came to Canada to join The Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto, where he was the Chief Clinical Fellow in pediatric emergency medicine and was recognized with the Award for Best Fellow. He remained at SickKids until 2011, when he was recruited to McMaster to help grow and develop the Division of Emergency Medicine.

With a focus on simulation training, Dr. Rosenbloom’s educational accomplishments span a range of learners from post-graduate trainees to Continuing Medical Education for physicians and nurses. He has successfully incorporated simulations into new educational activities and improved the quality of the simulation exercises offered at McMaster. As a member of the Hamilton Health Sciences Simulation Committee, he has played a key role in designing curriculum for residents and medical students to experience mock code training and continues to investigate and implement new techniques in this area.
