Dr. Eman Loubani is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine.
After completing a Bachelor of Science at Dalhousie, Dr. Loubani earned her MD at Western University in London. In 2004, she returned to the East Coast for Dalhousie’s Pediatric Residency Program with a focus in General Pediatrics. From there, she left for Ottawa where she practised in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the city’s Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. In 2011, she returned to Western for a two-year pediatric emergency medicine fellowship, which she completed in July 2013. She joined the Pediatrics faculty at McMaster in 2013.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Loubani has an interest in teaching and medical education. During her time as a pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow at Western, she was involved in teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. She participated in clinical teaching of second- and third-year medical students, as well as with residents.
