Dr. Krishnapriya Anchala is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and a pediatric emergency physician at McMaster Children's Hospital. She completed her residency training in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During her fellowship, she also participated in the NIH-funded Clinical Research Scholars Program, earning a Master of Science degree in clinical research from Case Western Reserve University.
In addition to providing clinical service in the pediatric emergency department, Dr. Anchala is involved in provincial trauma planning and educating medical students, residents and other health care professionals. Her academic interests include evidence-based emergency medicine and pediatric resuscitation.
