Dr. Gilleland is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. He joined the division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in 2006 after completing a two-year pediatric critical care fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Currently, Dr. Gilleland is the medical site lead of the MCH Pediatric Medical Emergency Team and is involved in a number of areas of research related to medical emergency teams, as well as knowledge translation of critical care guidelines to non-tertiary hospitals.
