Dr. Jack Sinclair, Professor Emeritus, Neonatology, brought evidence-based medicine to the field of neonatology. A respected scholar of medicine, skilled clinician and mentor, Dr. Sinclair was a professor of pediatrics at McMaster University from 1970 until his retirement in 1999. His leadership led to standards of excellence in neonatal research and care that are recognized and practised around the world.
To honour his significant contributions to the field of neonatology and McMaster University, he was inducted to the Faculty of Health Sciences' Community of Distinction in 2007. An endowed chair in neonatology in his name was also established.
