The Inside Ride

Members from the Department of Pediatrics teamed up in a fun, high energy, indoor cycling, fundraising event that raised much needed funding to make a meaningful difference in the lives of kids and teens living with cancer during the MacKids' Inside Ride on October 20th.

The 4 teams consisting of members from the Department were the top 4 fundraising teams of the event raising a very honorable combined total of $10,821.50 of the total $12,016.50 raised for the entire event. The teams also won prizes for Best Costume, Best Team Spirit and Highest Team Fundraiser. Way to go Peds!

Thanks to everyone who supported this events. The funds raised will be used to enhance the oncology program at McMaster enabling our dedicated healthcare professionals to reach new heights and break new ground at McMaster Children's Hospital while further enhancing the patient and their family's experience during their ambulatory care and treatment visits.

The Inside Ride was run by the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation on October 20, 2011. The Inside Ride is Canada's first cycling celebration and fundraising event dedicated to raising local funds in support of children and their families living with and beyond childhood cancer.
