Upcoming Events
The Faculty of Health Sciences also offers a Program for Faculty Development (PFD). This program assists faculty members in preparing themselves for a variety of educational roles in the Faculty of Health Sciences. PFD holds orientation sessions for new Health Sciences Faculty as well as sessions on PBSG, Effective Clinical Teaching, How to Tutor, and more.
Continuing Medical Education is also offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences. This includes Advanced Cardiac, Palliative Care, Emergency Medicine and more.
All faculty members and staff have the opportunity to pursue training in computers, marketing, languages and more through the Centre for Continuing Education.
Current Faculty
The Department of Pediatrics offers a variety of faculty development opportunities for faculty members. This includes tenure and promotion planning sessions for faculty members.
The McMaster University Faculty Association is the professional association representing faculty members.
