Burke Baird
After completing his residency in Paediatrics in London, Ontario in 1998, Dr. Baird moved to Sudbury where he served as a general consulting pediatrician for 11 years and was founding program director of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine's new pediatric residency program. He and his family moved to Hamilton in August 2010 and he is presently working as a consultant with the Child Advocacy and Assessment Program, as an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department and will be working with the hospital's diabetes program. He is also actively involved in providing support to the general pediatric inpatient service.
His main interests are in the areas of child maltreatment and post-graduate medical education.
