Dr. Bojana Babic joined the Division of General Pediatrics in 2009 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. She is a consultant pediatrician at McMaster Children's Hospital and St. Joseph Healthcare in Hamilton. Dr. Babic completed her pediatric residency training at McMaster University in 2005. Subsequently, in 2008, she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. During her fellowship training, Dr. Babic did research in type 1 diabetes in immigrant children from the Horn of Africa.
Dr. Babic's interests are in disorders of growth, puberty and sexual differentiation in children, as well as the care of children with general pediatric concerns. In addition, Dr. Babic has always been interested in the medical education of health professionals. She is currently undertaking a Master of Education through distance learning at Dundee University in Scotland.
