Dr. Hasan Al Shabanah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and a Pediatric Emergency Consultant at McMaster Children's Hospital. He completed his pediatric residency training at McMaster University and pediatric emergency fellowship at University of Western Ontario. Currently, he is obtaining his Master of Medical Management from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Al Shabanah obtained his Board Certification in Medical Management from the American College of Physician Executives and awarded as a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
His academic interest is ED operation, patient flow, quality measures, and benchmarking. He presented at different international emergency conferences talking about ED management and operation.
