Surgical Education Training Programs

The Division of Pediatric General Surgery at McMaster University provides training certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada to graduates of accredited medical schools. The Division educates learners in surgery at all levels, including medical students, residents and clinical fellows.


Clerkship

The Division of Pediatric General Surgery at McMaster University welcome medical students to apply to the Electives Program at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine.


Residency

Through careful selection of trainees, hard work by the trainees and the encouragement of maintenance of an intimate relationship between trainees, students and the faculty, or residency program has maintained its reputation of excellence throughout the years.


Fellowship

The breadth and depth of the surgical experience our clinical fellows receive reflects directly back on our Division by way of how successful our graduates are in their subsequent surgical careers.
