Welcome to our online learning toolkit on interprofessional clinical placements in a home care environment. This online toolkit has been designed to provide information on:

  1. How to establish an interprofessional home care placement program at your own institution.
  2. Our experiences/lessons learned while conducting an IPE placement program at McMaster University through the PIPER program.
  3. Information on how to build clinician expertise in facilitating interprofessional collaboration (IPC) in a home care environment with student learners.

To help you get the most of your time here, we've created a list of important definitions which you can refer to at any time.

For more information on this toolkit, or if you would like to acquire a copy of our online toolkit on a CD format, please contact: Nicole Gervais

The IPEmanager website (http://www.ipemanager.ca) is currently being used to manage the project.

"The thing that I liked the most was that I was able to ask a lot of questions and learn about the different services available to patients after they leave the hospital/clinic. This experience was useful and very experiential!"
