Education and Professional Standing

Interests

Research Focus

Dr Younglai is interested in many aspects of the control of fertility and in particular the effects of environmental toxicants on gonadal function. His recent research was focused on the nongenomic (rapid) effects of ovarian steroids and insecticides, an emerging area of intense scientific interest.

Academic Interests

Dr. Younglai acts as an MF III tutor for McMaster’s Undergraduate MD program and he is a participant of oral defences in the School of Graduate Studies.  He is also the Editor-in-Chief of “Reproductive Biology Insights” and he sits on the Hamilton Health Sciences/Faculty of Health Sciences Research Ethics Board.
