My main areas of interest relate to the pathology of tumours of the genitourinary tract including those of the prostate gland, urinary bladder, kidney and testis. My research focus is translational and relates to clinicopathologic and prognostic factor analysis of urologic tumours. I am particularly interested in the classification of genitourinary neoplasia along with issues of tumour grading, staging and novel prognostic factor analysis. My work involves collaboration with urologists, oncologists, molecular pathologists and as such integrates traditional, clinical and morphologic techniques with those of immunology and molecular biology.
