Interests
Research and Academic Interests
Dr. Belbeck is heavily involved with the Anatomy Education Program. His research focuses on educational projects, looking closely at small group, problem-based, life-long learning.
Dr. Belbeck teaches for many institutes within the McMaster community. At the Undergraduate level, he teaches and acts as a course coordinator for Pathophysiology I (HTH SCI 4K03), Pathophysiology II (HTH SCI 4KK3), Pathoanatomy (HTH SCI 4G03) and Anatomy and Physiology (2F03 & 2FF3). He also acts as a project supervisor for McMaster’s Science Program, the Bachelor or Health Sciences Program and for the Arts & Science Program.
Dr. Belbeck is also associated with McMaster’s MD Program at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Here, he is involved as an MF3 curriculum planner and he acts as an MF3 and MF4 tutor. Dr. Belbeck is involved in anatomical teaching of surgical techniques as well as with the MD residency programs.
