Interests
Research Focus
Currently, Dr. Arredondo is involved in a placenta study aiming to describe findings in what are considered to be normal placentas.
Clinical Focus
Dr. Arredondo’s clinical focus is in pediatric pathology with main interests in:
- Hematopathology
- Malignant pediatric tumors
- GI pediatric pathology
- Pediatric autopsy
Academic Interests
Dr. Arredondo currently teaches in the Undergraduate Medical Program, as well as the Residency Program. This includes teaching general and anatomical pathology residents, as well as those of other specialties, and entails training in performing autopsies.
