Smaller TextA Taste of Palliative Care
This half day will consist of three parts:
- Students will have the opportunity to practice history taking with a mock patient.
- Students will have a mini tutorial on Collaborative Practice
- Students will participate in a TOSCE where they will receive a clinical scenario and be asked to work together as a team to address the relevant issues
TOSCE
All students, local and distributive sites, will return to Hamilton on a previously designated date for the Team OSCE. This is being offered with the goal of enhancing understanding of interdisciplinary care.
Goals: The goal of the TOSCE is to enhance students' understanding of inter-professional care and will focus on palliative care content as well as inter-professional learning objectives. Format will be similar to that used for OSCE's.
