OBJECTIVES

  • To learn new strategies for treatment of complex pain
  • To learn strategies for exploring the palliative care needs of people with Parkinson’s disease
  • To learn more about the spiritual distress experienced by patients, families and staff and ways to provide comfort
  • To learn more about caring for the palliative care patient who has the potential for risk of addiction
