Division of Ophthalmology

Overview

The Division of Ophthalmology at McMaster University is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care and quality training for clerks, residents and fellows. We have a strong commitment to education with a primary focus on undergraduate and postgraduate surgical training. Medical clerks are welcome to apply to the Electives Program offered through the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine.

Welcome to the Division of Ophthalmology at McMaster University. I hope that our new and improved website will better acquaint you with our programs and the clinical services we offer. I am pleased to announce that our five year old residency program, approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, will graduate our first candidate in 2010 and has one position each year in the CARMS match.
