The Health Services Research and Knolwedge Translation Group within the Department of Oncology is a highly integrated multidisciplinary team of scientists. The Group's primary aim is to improve the experience of those affected by cancer and the quality of the cancer system through the design, testing, and evaluation of innovative models of care delivery, strategies to mitigate gaps in the delivery of clinical care, and approaches to promote the uptake and sustained application of evidence-informed knowledge.
Meet the scientists who comprise this program:
Efficiency, Quality, Sustainability
Research to understand current patterns in the organization and delivery of care serves as important precursors to solving issues of access, system, performance, and transitions along the cancer journey. The focus of the Health Services Research and Knowledge Translation Group is to address the efficiency, quality and sustainability in cancer control through the design and evaluation of best practices in clinical care, innovative models of care delivery, and knowledge translation strategies aimed to ensure advances are put into practice.
