Education and Professional Standing

Dr Karim Ladak graduated with honours and 2 graduation medals from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at McMaster University. He received further subspecialty training in Rheumatology at the Cornell University’s Hospital for Special Surgery, in New York City, where he was the Cornell Department of Medicine’s 2018 Fellow of The Year.

He is currently a clinical scholar in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Ladak has a special interest in medical education, autoimmune disease and general internal medicine.

Research Interests

He has several peer-reviewed publications and has had peer-reviewed funding. Along with clinical work he is simultaneously pursuing his Master’s in Medical Education.
