Education and Professional Standing

Dr. Coyne completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, earning her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, in 2007.

She attended medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), where she earned her medical degree (MD) from the Sudbury campus in 2011.

She pursued her post-graduate medical education at Western University, in London Ontario, obtaining her FRCPC in Internal Medicine in 2015. During her third year of Internal Medicine training, she served as one of Western’s Chief Medical Residents. Dr. Coyne subsequently obtained her FRCPC in Respirology after completing her Respirology fellowship at Western University.

Clinical and Educational Interests

Dr. Coyne has clinical interests in General Respirology, community medicine, and inter-professional collaboration. She enjoys teaching medical learners and focusing on mentorship, professional development, and medical student and resident physician wellness.
