Clinical Profile
Dr. Agnes Chmiel is currently the Most Responsible Physician for the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program. Her outpatient clinics focus on Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Sport Injuries, Arthritis Management, and Electromyography. She is also the Physiatry Consultant at the David Braley Athletics Centre, where she participates in the care of varsity athletes.
Educator
Dr. Agnes Chmiel currently holds the title of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine. She has a keen interest in education, and has been active in the Michael G. Degroote School of Medicine for over five years, both in the annual admissions process and multiple student examinations. She is also the OSCE Coordinator for the annual examination of residents in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program at McMaster University, and sits on the Residency Training Committee. In addition, she frequently welcomes elective students from other universities who have an interest in Physiatry.
