Henry Ddungu

Dr Ddungu studied as an undergraduate at Makerere University Medical School, Kampala, Uganda, and was awarded a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) degree in 1998.
For the next two years, he worked at Hospice Africa Uganda as a medical officer providing clinical palliative care to terminally ill cancer and HIV/AIDS patients. In subsequent studies, he earned a Masters in Internal Medicine from Makerere University Medical School in 2003 and graduated from a clinical fellowship in Hematology at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, in 2005.
Dr Ddungu has a wealth of experience in palliative care in Africa, working in such countries as Ghana, Zambia and Kenya. Henry is an honorary lecturer at Makerere University Medical School, and an honorary visiting lecturer at McMaster University's Department of Medicine, Canada
