The Division of Hematology is constituted within the Department of Medicine, although it draws Faculty from the Departments of Pediatrics and Pathology and Molecular Medicine. The Department has Services in each of the four academic teaching Hospitals at McMaster University; Service heads are responsible to their Hospital Chair of Medicine, and may have other reporting requirements (for example to the Juravinski Cancer Centre). The Hematology Division provides guidance to the Clinical and Laboratory services at each of the Acute care sites in the city.
