Awards & Successes
Hematologists at McMaster University publish cutting edge research in diverse fields. Recent high impact publications include the 2008 Chest Guidelines on Antithrombotic Therapy and numerous articles in leading journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, the Annals of Internal Medicine and The Lancet .
Hematologists at McMaster University hold both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Canada Research Chairs as well as individual endowed Research Chairs.
Members of the Division also hold current peer-reviewed funding from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, the National Institutes of Health and other agencies, companies and foundations.
