Jill Rudkowski
Education and Professional Standing
Dr. Jill Rudkowski obtained her MD from the University of Calgary in 1996. She trained in Internal Medicine, Respirology, and Critical Care at McGill University after which she completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship with Dr. Barrett Rollins at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University.
Dr. Rudkowski joined McMaster University in 2007 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She is the Director of the Medical-Step Down/CCU at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. She is active clinically in both General Internal Medicine and Critical Care at St. Joseph's. Her main role is that of a Clinician Educator. She is the Internal Medicine Clerkship Coordinator for the St. Joseph’s site.
Research Interests
Dr. Rudkowski’s research interests include outcomes of survivors of critical illness, peri-operative outcomes, the mechanisms and treatment of dyspnea in lung cancer patients, and end-of-life decision making.
