Education and Professional Standing

Dr. Eric Greenwald received his B.Sc. in Human Biology from the University of Toronto in 1997. He went on to complete his M.Sc. in Pharmacology at the University of Toronto in 1998. He spent the next four years at Queen’s University for his undergraduate medical education. Both his Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology residencies were completed at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology in 2013. Dr. Greenwald’s main interest is in medical education and he is currently the Director of the Adult Gastroenterology Residency Program. He is a certified trainer for the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Skills Enhancement in Endoscopy (SEE) program.
