Dr. Sarah Capes is an endocrinologist with an interest in teaching and clinical research.
Dr. Capes was a full-time faculty member at McMaster until April 2005, when she moved to Victoria, BC to take up a new position as a clinician and teacher at the newly established Island Medical Program (associated with the University of British Columbia).Academic Interests
Dr. Capes continues her involvement in the ACCORD Study (a multicentre NIH-funded study focused on the prevention of cardiovascular disease in people with type 2 diabetes) and in other clinical research studies. McMaster students and residents are welcome to apply for clinical electives in Victoria.
