Education and Professional Standing

Dr. Gandhi completed his medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Toronto, and cardiology residency at McMaster University. Dr. Gandhi has completed advanced fellowship training in echocardiography at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto with a focus on complex valve disease and imaging for transcatheter valve procedures. Dr. Gandhi is currently a Clinical Scholar with the Division of Cardiology, while undertaking his Master of Science in Health Sciences Education at McMaster University. 

Research and Clinical Interests

Dr. Gandhi's clinical interests include structural heart disease interventions with a focus on complex valve disease and imaging for percutaneous valve procedures. As well Dr. Gandhi has research interests in cardio-diabetes, continuing medical education for physicians, and the use of mhealth tools for patient and physician education.
