Dr. Lynda Redwood-Campbell has received a Paul Harris Fellowship from the Dundas Rotary Club for her assistance and guidance on a project that will improve the health of people in Banda Aceh in Indonesia.

The Paul Harris Fellowship Award acknowledges "service above self", to a person's community, their nation or the world. It is the highest honour a Rotary Club bestows.

Redwood-Campbell is a professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She has worked in many resource-poor countries and with the Red Cross on many emergency response missions around the world, including Rwanda, DRC (Congo), Kenya, Honduras, Bangladesh and Haiti.

The award is Dr. Redwood-Campbellā€™s second Paul Harris Award. She was previously recognized by a Rotary Club in Burlington, Ontario.
