International health professor Hans Rosling — known for his very animated lectures — will give the Chanchlani Global Health Research lecture on Feb. 24.
Named one of the World's 100 Most Influential People in 2012 by Time magazine, the Karolinska Institute professor will talk about global health from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Health Sciences Centre, room 1A1.
While on campus, he'll also receive the Chanchlani Global Health Research Award.
The award was created by the Chanchlani family and McMaster in 2012 to recognize a leading scholar in the area of global health.
Rosling's lecture is open to the public and free to attend.
