Overview

• Flagship program with an international reputation for its unique three-year program based on small group, problem-based study and early introduction to the clinical experience
• More than 4,500 applicants a year, more than any other Canadian medical school
• Since 2000, enrolment has increased by more than 80 per cent, with 194 first year students being accepted into the program in September 2009. This includes the 28 students for the Waterloo Regional Campus and 20 first-year student at the Niagara Regional Campus.
• More than 490 undergraduate MD students are currently enrolled, along with more than 790 medical residents in 44 specialties and sub-specialties
