• Contributing significantly to the body of knowledge in thromboembolism research and establish a world-class Centre of Excellence in thromboembolism, which will exemplify the central values of the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and McMaster University
• Primary research, guideline development and systematic reviews of available scientific literature
• Developing a Centre for Evaluative Medicines
