08.03.11 Carolina Alba | MD, HRM PhD Student (Supervisor: Gordon Guyatt) received a 2011 Vanier Scholarship. The formal announcement of the Vaniers was made by none other than the Rt Hon. Stephen Harper in McMaster University’s Convocation Hall. Immediately following Mr. Harper’s speech, Carolina gave a wonderful speech on behalf of all Vanier recipients. She also met with the Prime Minister prior to the ceremony and there is a great picture of her explaining the human heart to him on the McMaster Daily News at  http://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/story.cfm?id=8162.  Please join me again in congratulating Carolina.
