The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP)
E-Learning Program

Together, McMaster University, Hamilton Health Sciences and the Research Institute of St. Joe's Hamilton have partnered with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) to provide a training platform to the Hamilton research community. The e-learning platform will enhance and reinforce the knowledge that is required for investigators, study coordinators, monitors, and other research staff to optimize management of clinical trials and research studies.

The e-learning platform offers a variety of clinical research topics ranging from:

  • Introductions to clinical trials and regulation
  • Protocol operationalization
  • Budgeting
  • Ethics
  • Quality control and quality management systems
  • Inspection preparation

The modules range in difficulty making them beneficial for all research employees in an interactive, narrated, PowerPoint presentation format. Upon completion of each course module, users are required to complete a multiple choice test consisting of approximately 10 to 25 questions.
