Master of Science in Global Health
"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."
— Nelson Mandela
Global Health is about a commonality across borders and the commitment to improve health throughout the world. The critical and integrated relationships among health, healthcare, education, economic development, and business leadership and management require a simultaneous consideration of these issues in the education of future health leaders.
To meet this need effectively, McMaster University, Canada — internationally respected in health sciences, social sciences and business — is offering an innovative Master of Science in Global Health program.
The program is designed to prepare students for the global workforce by providing a solid foundation in global health issues, web-based learning and experience in low-and middle-income countries.
Welcome to the Master of Science in Global Health quarterly newsletter. We invite you to read further about the program, to learn more about our partnership with Maastricht University, student and faculty updates, course offerings and the membership and function of the Global Health Advisory Board.
