McMaster is interested in establishing partnerships with institutions worldwide.
The Faculty of Health Sciences has developed an international reputation for excellence in higher education and clinical care, including educational opportunities for health professionals.
We have experience in the development of educational systems that include building from the bottom or assisting already established institutions. We have expertise in international accreditation standards as well as curriculum development and implementation. The Global Health Office website features exciting stories from faculty who are working abroad and an events calendar that provides up-to-date information on both recent and upcoming activities. The Global Health Office is multi-faceted, operating in close collaboration with all schools in the Faculty of Health Sciences, including medicine, midwifery, nursing and rehabilitation science.
The Office provides ongoing support for international activities; enhances McMaster’s visibility by strengthening health systems internationally; promotes interprofessional linkages focused on medical and health research through humanitarian aid and development; and acts as a liaison for increasing health human resource capacity building in higher education worldwide.
