Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training and regular retraining helps healthcare professionals develop and maintain competence and confidence in cardiac arrest situations.

The Hamilton Niagara Regional ACLS Center of Excellence is overseen by the Divisions of Emergency Medicine, McMaster University. As designated by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (HSFO), the Centre of Excellence is a liaison between the HSFO and ACLS educators.
