Email in the Faculty of Health Sciences

All McMaster staff and faculty are eligible for an email account from the University.

Members of the Faculty of Health Sciences can select one of two available email services: FHSAdmin or Univmail.

The FHS Administrative Server provides a suite of enhanced email and storage services, including:

  • 200MB of mailbox space
  • consolidated messaging and calendaring
  • secured and large capacity group shared file storage
  • dynamic backup and on demand restore services
  • full integration and support of mobile devices

FHSAdmin services can be accessed using a web browser, such as MS Explorer, Firefox, and others. In addition, FHSAdmin offers extra functionality for users of Microsoft Outlook.

Students enrolled in a degree program should self-register on MUGSI.

When you retire, your e-mail account is not automatically continued, you must submit a retiree e-mail application form.

Other individuals, such as visiting scholars must complete an application form and submit it along with a sponsoring letter from your McMaster sponsor.
